Five Stones Research Corporation is an 8(a), Woman-Owned, Native American, Small Economically Disadvantaged Business headquartered in Huntsville, Alabama with offices in the National Capital Region. Five Stones was founded in 2006 and is organized into three core business areas:

5SRC has over 150 employees and 9 years of successful management experience on over 40 contracts – 24 of which have been as the Prime. We have demonstrated our ability to successfully lead teams of subcontractors and exceed customer expectations. We support a geographically separated workforce (located in five states over eight cities from the National Capital Region to Utah) and have the proven ability to recruit, retain, and transition efforts at all locations. We are complemented by a three time Inc. 500|5000 award as well as a three time Huntsville Chamber of Commerce Best Places to Work award. We have a full program management organization complete with organic accounting, contracting, human resource, IT and security personnel.

Origin of Our Name
According to the familiar and inspirational story, young David was able to defeat the mighty Goliath with five smooth stones taken from a nearby brook. “David and Goliath” is now a proverbial expression for a small force overcoming giant challenges.
Our name is taken from the scripture found in 1 Samuel 17:40, “…and he chose for himself five smooth stones from the brook…” Each stone represents a corporate culture value: Quality, Courage, Honesty, Integrity, and Trust.

CEO: Joni R. Green, PMP
Mrs. Joni Green, PMP is the founder and owner of Five Stones Research Corporation (5SRC). Mrs. Green is a certified Program Management Profession (PMP) with more than 19 years of leadership and management experience. Her academic training and extensive experience in multi-functional program management, marketing, acquisition and business management support has successfully contributed to DoD systems acquisition and research & development organizations. Mrs. Green is an accomplished professional with demonstrated experience directing corporate strategies. She has a BS in Business and Marketing. She holds membership in the Greater Huntsville Rotary Club, AAAA, AUSA, SOLE, WID, and PMI. Mrs. Green is married with five children.
President: Steve T. Willhelm, PMP
Mr. Willhelm joined 5SRC in May of 2010 after 22 years of military service and represents 5SRC to industry partners and major customers. His military positions include leadership at the platoon and company level and time as an instructor and operations officer. His acquisition assignments include Assistant Product Manager (APM) at Terminal High Altitude Area Defense in the THAAD Fire Control/Communication and Radar Product Offices, Range Control Officer (RCO) at Reagan Test Site (RTS), Deputy Director for the Test Execution Directorate, GMD Joint Program Office and the Product Manager for the ACAT 1-D Joint Land Attack Cruise Missile Defense Elevated Netted Sensor System (JLENS). He is a PMP and has Masters Degrees in Business, Information Technology Management, and Military Art and Science. He also runs a ministry “Project Abundant Life” with his wife Leigh.
COO: Gregory A. Gaddy, Ph.D.
Dr. Gaddy joined 5SRC in June 2012 and serves as the Chief Operating Officer. He is responsible for the daily operations of the company and works to ensure financial strength and operating efficiency to 5SRC's DoD customers and industry partners. He also works within the executive management team to develop and execute strategic corporate initiatives. He performs emerging market analyses, develops and maintains client and capabilities portfolios, and manages proposals. He is a former Department of the Army civilian where he specialized in advanced materials research, development, and transition. Dr. Gaddy brings over ten years of experience in Department of Defense and Federal contracting. He earned his doctorate in chemistry from Auburn University in 2001.
